Our first film together in 2017 .
This is also the first big-screen musical I've ever seen in theater. It's a classic hollywood story with two theme that never gets old: boy-meets-girl romance and the pursuit of your dreams; "do whatever you have to do.
I was wondering what "La La Land" means. In Webster Dictionary it is defined as the following:
"An euphoric dreamlike mental state detached from the harsher realities of life."
It is in sync with the theme of youthful dreams and adult compromises, sending such messgae as: romance and dream of youth is wonderful and magical, but we all have grow up somehow someday. We can't get all what we wanted.
The film’s last moments are a swell of pure emotion...With the background the song "City of stars" started in the background, Mia lost in thought with the "What if?" question and so have the audience.
*A private message to C:
Thank you for holding me tightly, when I sat in the darkness of the cinema bursting into tears.
For me, dream is not all about professions, it is an ideal state of being. It constantly changes, as new experiences happen in life.
Growing old, oh wait, growing up with you, is part of that dream â¤.
Stay happy together with me.
